Visiting Chengdu Without the Necessary Visa Is Possible Now!
Now it's time to pack your baggage to get close to the giant pandas in Chengdu even without the hassle of applying for a China visa! Following Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, Chengdu becomes the fourth city in China to adopt the 72-hr visa-free stay policy.
Starting from September 1st, travelers from 45 countries will be able to stay in Chengdu for 72 hours without a visa when taking an international transfer via Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. The visa-free policy is available for travelers from 45 countries, including the United States, Canada, France, Britain, Germany, Italy, Australia, and Japan.
