Day 1: Fly to China
Today you will go to the airport on your own arrangement and take the international flight to China.

Day 2: Beijing, Arrival
Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China. Your personal guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 3: Beijing, City Highlights Tour
This morning you will first visit the badge of Beijing city - Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City.
Later, taste the local foods and see the local life at a hutong family before exploring the hutongs by rickshaw (including the Nanluoguxiang area). The evening is free at leisure. If you like, you can visit Houhai Bar Street.

Day 4: Beijing, Great Wall Tour
This morning, you will first visit Temple of Heaven, and then step out of the town to tour the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section, round-trip cable car included). Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will be amazed at the unbelievable constructions and appealing landscape that surrounds the Wall.
Descending the Great Wall, you will visit the Changling Tomb and drop by the Longing Pearl Store before getting back to your hotel.

Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an, Muslim Street & Shadow Play
Today you will be free before your flight to your next destination.
Upon arriving in Xi'an, your private guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. In the rest of the day, you will walk along the Muslim Street and pass through the narrow bazaar streets lined with shops selling a large variety of interesting local delicacies, snacks and souvenirs.
Finally, pay a visit to the Gao's Family where you could enjoy the tea ceremony and a shadow play.

Day 6: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors & City Highlights
The world-famous Terracotta Warriors is your first stop today. You will tour all 3 pits and see over 8,000 life-size terra soldiers and horses in battle formation. After that, pay a short visit to a jade gallery and then have lunch.
In the afternoon, proceed to the Ancient City Wall, the biggest city wall around the world.
As the night falls, visit the Great Tang All Day Mall in your way and view the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in lights at the Fountain Square nearby.

Day 7: Xi'an - Shanghai, Yu Garden & The Bund
Take a morning flight to China's most cosmopolitan city - Shanghai. Upon your arrival in Shanghai, be met and escorted to your hotel.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a half day tour to explore this city by visiting the traditional and elegant Yu Garden, the bustling Yuyuan Market and the landmark of Shanghai - the Bund, where you can have a stroll along the Huangpu River.

Day 8: Shanghai, City Highlights Tour
After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Museum. Later, you will get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower; and then visit Xintiandi, an ambitious area with mid-19th-century buildings, containing stylish and expensive shops, pubs and restaurants. Your tour today will end earlier than usual, so you will have some free time to explore this city.

Day 9: Shanghai - Beijing, Departure
After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, take the international flight and get back to your home.
