Day 1: Fly to China
Today, you will go to the airport on your own arrangement and take the international flight to China. Overnight on the plane.

Day 2: Beijing, Arrival
Welcome to China! Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 3: Beijing, City Highlights Tour
Today, you will first visit the badge of Beijing city - Tiananmen Square, followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. Lunch will be served at a hutong family. You will taste the local dishes and have a glimpse of people's life in the hutongs before starting a pleasant hutongs tour in the afternoon. Nanluoguxiang will be included. The evening is free at leisure. If you like, you can also have some fun in the Houhai Bar Street.

Day 4: Beijing, Great Wall Tour
This morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, the center of imperial ritual ceremony for Ming and Qing Dynasties, where you will see local people doing morning exercise as well.
Later, step out of the town to tour the 8th Wonder of the World - Great Wall (Mutianyu section, round-trip cable car included). Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will be amazed at the unbelievable constructions and appalling landscape that surrounds the Wall. After that, you will visit the Chang Tomb and a jade gallery, before going back to your hotel.

Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an, Muslim Street & Shadow Play
This morning, take a morning flight to the ancient city Xi'an. Upon arrival in Xi'an, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After a short rest, you will visit the Muslim Street and pass through the narrow bazaar streets lined with shops selling a large variety of interesting local delicacies, snacks, and souvenirs. Later, pay a visit to the Gao's Courtyard where you could enjoy a tea ceremony and a shadow play.

Day 6: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors & City Highlights
The world-famous Terracotta Warriors is your first stop today. Discovered by a farmer in 1974, the terracotta army was regarded as one of the most significant archaeological finds in the 20th century. You will see around 8,000 life-size terracotta soldiers and horses in battle formation. After that, you will visit the Art Ceramics Factory to inspect how these amazing statues can be made in ancient times.
After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Wall, the biggest city wall around the world.
As the night falls, visit the Great Tang All Day Mall in your way and view the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in lights at the Fountain Square nearby.

Day 7: Xi'an - Guilin, Local Family Visit
Today, you will you will have a chance to visit a local family and learn how to make dumplings, stretch noodles, and homely dishes. If time permits, you can go to a local market with the host and visit the local Mahjong house to feel the Chinese leisure life.
After lunch, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free at leisure.

Day 8: Li River & West Street
Today, you will embark a leisurely Li River cruise, which is a must-do in Guilin. As the boat sailing on the crystal-clear water, you will pass through karst peaks and pinnacles, rice paddies, water buffaloes and local villages. After disembarkation, take some time roaming through the well-known West Street. Later, transfer back to Guilin.

Day 9: Guilin - Shanghai
Today, you will visit the city highlights of Guilin, including the vivid Elephant Trunk Hill, the Fubo Hill beside the Li River, and the fabulous Reed Flute Cave. Later, drop by the Guilin South China Sea Water Pearl Museum, before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination. Upon your arrival in Shanghai, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 10: Shanghai, Yu Garden & Shanghai History Tour
Start your Shanghai discovery with the Yu Garden, to admire its exquisite pavilions, unique stones, corridors, and rockeries. Later, stroll along the bustling Yuyuan Market and visit the Jiangnan Silk Workshop. Proceed to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall which will show you a fascinating insight into Shanghai's future and the former French Concession. After that, walk along the Bund along Hupu River and have some free time at the famous Nanjing Road.

Day 11: Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai, Chinese Garden & Grand Canal
Today, you will enjoy an excursion tour to the beautiful Suzhou (by private transfer). You will visit the quiet Lingering Garden and Pan Gate there, enjoy the gentle breeze while cruising on the Grand Canal and pay a visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon.
After the tour, you will get back to Shanghai.

Day 12: Shanghai - Beijing, Departure
You will be free this morning until your personal guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, take the international flight back home and say goodbye to China.
