Day 1: Beijing, Arrival
Ni Hao! Your China tour begins from Beijing, a dynamic and modern city in China dotted with historical sites for you to explore. Meet your tour guide at the airport and be escorted to the hotel by private vehicle. The rest of this day is free for you to relax in the hotel or stroll in this fascinating city.

Day 2: Beijing, City Highlights Tour
After breakfast, start your Beijing exploration with Tiananmen Square. From there, enter the Forbidden City and admire the imperial palaces that 24 Chinese emperors in the past 600 years had lived in.
In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk at the exquisitely built Temple of Heaven, which served as an altar used only by the emperors to perform solemn rites.
Optional: If you'd like more recreation for tonight, the Chinese Kung Fu Show is heartily recommended.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall Tour
Today is highlighted by an exciting trip to one of China's iconic sites - Great Wall at Mutianyu section (round trip cable car included). As a World Cultural Heritage Site, it once served as a northern barrier throughout centuries to what is now Beijing. The wind walls on the mountain ranges offer an impressive landscape for everyone there.
After a stop in a jade gallery, continue to visit the Sacred Road to trace the path of an imperial ancestor about worship ceremony in the Ming Dynasty.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an, Summer Palace
This morning, escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while and retreat to the Summer Palace as Chinese emperors do. As you're walking through the gardens, bridges and halls, you'll get to know why the emperors like the place.
If time permits, you may experience an optional rickshaw ride in the hutongs (ancient alleys) to get in touch with the old Beijinger's lifestyle.
In the afternoon, you will take a high-speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, your personal guide will meet and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors & City Highlights
Your first stop in historic Xi'an is definitely the Terracotta Warriors. The discovery of over 8,000 life-size clay soldiers and horses, which dates back to 2,200 ago, has left the world amazed. Next, find out how these astonishing clay sculptures were made at the Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory.
After lunch, roam around the Xi'an City Wall, which is the only fortification that remains an unbroken rectangular circuit you can see today. Bicycles are available for rental there and it's popular to have a bike ride on the bumpy cobblestones. Today's tour wraps up with the Small Wild Goose Pagoda.
Optional: Activities like a Chinese calligraphy class and the Tang Dynasty Show are both recommended if you'd like to explore deeper about China's culture.

Day 6: Xi'an - Guilin, Muslim Street & Shadow Puppet Show
After breakfast, tour to the most popular food street in Xi'an - Muslim Street and Gao's Courtyard where you can also see the shadow puppet show. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Guilin.
Guilin, reputed as the most scenic city in China, is a charming place surrounded by the crystal river and lakes all year around.

Day 7: Guilin - Yangshuo, Li River Cruise
This morning, you'll embark on a leisurely Li River Cruise. As the boat sails downstream, you'll take in the unlimited fresh air, feel the river breeze, pass by arrays of karst hills, and spot water buffaloes with local villagers.
After disembarkation in the early afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Yangshuo. Enjoy exploring on your own or you might want to sign up the optional cooking class or countryside tour we provide.
Optional: If you'd like more activities tonight, the show of Impression Sanjie Liu is heartily recommended.

Day 8: Guilin - Shanghai, Elephant Trunk Hill & Reed Flute Cave
After a nice stay in Yangshuo, you will be driven back to Guilin (1.5 hours) to tour the symbol of the city, Elephant Trunk Hill, and a pearl museum; followed by a visit to Reed Flute Cave which is famed as "A Natural Palace of Art".
Later, drive you to the airport for the flight to Shanghai - China's most cosmopolitan city which is the vibrant pulse of new China blending 21st-century architecture with old-world character.

Day 9: Shanghai, Yu Garden & Shanghai History Tour
Your Shanghai tour starts with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, where you can have a piece of basic knowledge about the past, present, and future of Shanghai through the collections and the high-tech interactive facilities inside. Next, roam through the Yu Garden and the nearby Yuyuan Market in the old town of Shanghai.
Proceed to a silk workshop and watch the progress of silk-making. Later in the day, enjoy a walk at the Bund and the former French Concession.
Optional: A night cruise on the Huangpu River and an eye-popping acrobatic show are available tonight to make the most of your time in Shanghai.

Day 10: Shanghai, Departure
After breakfast, you will get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower before driving to the airport for your onward flight.
