Day 1: Chengdu - Xinduqiao
Depart from Chengdu in the morning, after six hours drive we will arrive at Xinduqiao, a magical land that was called "the world of light and shadow" and "the paradise for photographers." The ever-changing light, the endless grassland, the rolling hills, and the scattered Tibetan villages attract the real lovers of nature and photography.

Day 2: Xinduqiao - Danba
Today, we will proceed to Danba, with an en-route stop at Tagong Grassland at an altitude of 3,730 meters. On the grassland is the thousand years old Tagong Temple, a holy place for Tibetans in the Kham area. In summer and autumn, the snow-capped mountains, blossom flowers, crystal streams, flocks and herds, tents and temples, add charms to each other.
For this tour, it is wise to prepare some pills to prevent altitude sickness.

Day 3: Danba
Danba County boasts of its gorgeous clusters of Jiarong Tibetan Villages and historical watchtowers. You will have a full day to discover them.
Among these villages, Jiaju village, home to more than 140 Tibetan families and stretching from the Dajin River valley to the foot of Kapama peaks, is the most beautiful one.
Suopo is the place with the largest number of ancient watchtowers in Danba and even the world, with a total of 84. Seen from a distance, these historical buildings are so fascinated, especially when shined by the sunlight at dusk.

Day 4: Danba - Mt. Siguniang
Today we will move on to the National Scenic Area of Four Girls Mountain (Mount Siguniang) that boasts of 52 snow peaks over 5,000 meters above sea level with the highest one at the altitude of 6,250 meters.
It will take about 3.5 hours to travel from Danba to Rilong, a small town at the foot of Mount Siguniang where you will stay for the next two nights.

Day 5: Mt. Siguniang
Spend the day hiking the three main valleys of the scenic area and discover the colorful landscapes of Mount Siguniang.
In the Shuangqiao Valley at an altitude of 400 meters, there are birch forests, poplar forests, and green maple forests that are common in low mountain areas as well as spruces, firs, and redwoods that usually live at higher altitudes. In Changping Valley, there is not only scenic natural scenery but also unique Jiarong Tibetan customs. While the Haizi Valley is much open and flat with native meadows and ancient fish from the Quaternary Period.

Day 6: Mount Siguniang - Wolong - Chengdu
Bid farewell to the Four Girls Mountain we will then take 2.5 hours to Wolong National Nature Reserve, one of the main habitats of giant pandas with more than 50 giant pandas live there now.
After seeing cute pandas in the more natural environment there, another two hours' drive will take you back to Chengdu and end the tour.
