Itinerary

Day 1: Land in Beijing
"Ni Hao!" Welcome to China!
After landing at the airport, get to your hotel in the center of Beijing and have the remainder of the day at leisure to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Beijing, Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City
Feel the opulence of royalty and the artistry of the artisans as you visit the Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. Beginning at the south at Tiananmen Square, you will be able to experience the grandeur and seriousness of Chinese symmetrical architecture. After admiring the palace's splendor and its many rare collectibles, head north to Jingshan Mountain for a panoramic view of the whole complex and old quarter of Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing, The Great Wall
Our destination today is the Great Wall, about a two-hour drive from downtown Beijing. Upon arrival, you'll have ample time to take round-trip cable cars and hike to a commanding tower, and enjoy magnificent views of the ancient ramparts and the rolling mountains surrounding it.
Late in the afternoon, as we return to the city, you'll have the opportunity to view the Olympic Bird's Nest and Water Cube from the outside and visit a reputable pearl store.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Spend the morning exploring the Temple of Heaven, an imperial sacrificial altar. Marvel at the ingenious architecture, stroll through the spacious surrounding park, and observe locals engaging in leisure activities such as Tai Chi, martial arts, and calligraphy.
Then, embark on a five-hour high-speed train journey to Xi'an, a city with a history that spans over two thousand years. Upon arrival, be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors

Day 6: Xi'an - Shanghai
After a brief 2.5-hour flight, you will land in Shanghai, an international metropolis that is vibrant, welcoming, and diverse. While being escorted to your hotel by your friendly tour guide, you will gain a sense of the city's prosperity.

Day 7: Shanghai, City Highlights
Explore the Bund, a fusion of colonial and modern architecture. Immerse yourself in the Yu Garden, featuring stunning pavilions, meandering walks, and delicate rockeries, showcasing the art of Chinese artisans in capturing the beauty of nature. Proceed to the old French Concession, where you can savor a blend of Chinese and Western cuisine in the ambiance of antique buildings lining streets adorned with plane trees. Don't miss the silk-making shops and the Shanghai Museum, home to an extensive collection of Chinese art and cultural artifacts, including antique bronzes, porcelain, calligraphy, and paintings.

1. No hotel rooms or flights have been reserved so far. We will make the reservation after the deposit payment is received. In case rooms are not available at the hotel foreseen/ desired, alternate rooms or similar categories of hotels will be suggested.
