Lingyin Temple

It is built in 326BD, and it has a history of more than 1600 years. It is one of the most famous ancient monasteries in China. There are several main halls with grand Buddhist statues in the temple. Besides the intriguing Lingyin Temple is the Peak Flown From Afar. It is not only a beautiful attraction but also an important grotto area. The cliffs of the peak, are full of 330 stone carvings from Song and Yuan Dynasties. The most noticeable one is the smiling Maitreya, the biggest stone carving with high value.

Near West Lake, the China Silk Museum is the biggest silk museum in the world. The main hall, tells a story about the origin and development of silk, the main kinds of silk, the Silk Road, and the part that silk played in ancient times. Xixi Wetland

Xixi Wetland National Park is located in the west part of Hangzhou City. It is 5 kilometers away from the beautiful West Lake. Xixi Wetland is a rare wetland in the city. It is also the first wetland including urban wetland, rice paddy wetland, and cultural wetland in China. The Xixi wetland is superb because of the water. There is a water area of more than 70 percent out of the whole area of the park area. There are 6 rivers crisscrossing the wetland area, and ponds are special wetland scenery.

Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Hu Qing Yu Tang is located at the foot of Wu Hill, Hangzhou. It is the only national-grade professional Chinese Medicines Museum. The museum is built based on the ancient buildings of Hu Qingyu Tang. Visitors who come here can not only enjoy the essence of Chinese Medicines but are also amazed at the special architecture of Hu Qingyu Tang.

Wuzhen

As one of the six ancient towns in China, Wuzhen (near Hangzhou) is located along the Grand Canal. The special water town atmosphere and exquisite local buildings make Wuzhen full of charm.
