If you want to cross the river, continue south to the intersection of Yan'an East Road, where you can take a ferry for 2 RMB at the Bund Ferry Terminal to the other side. Once you arrive, the dock is close to both the Shanghai Tower and the Jin Mao Tower, where you can choose to go up to see a panoramic view of Shanghai. Alternatively, you can walk north along Fucheng Road to the Oriental Pearl Tower, which is also a great option for a visit.

• Shanghai Tower: It's the tallest building in China and the third-tallest skyscraper in the world. It heights at 632 meters (about 2073 feet) and houses offices, hotels and the world's highest observation deck. You can cross the river and ascend this tower after your walk at the Bund.
• Jin Mao Tower: It's a 420.5-meter (1,380-foot) skyscraper next to the Shanghai Tower. Compared with 128-floor Shanghai Tower, it has 88 floors. One of the world's highest hotels, Grand Hyatt Shanghai occupies the 53rd to 87th floors of this building. The 88th floor is an observation deck opening to the public.
