Today, you'll embark on a journey to the famous Badaling Great Wall, renowned for its impressive preservation and historical significance. The trip takes about 1.5 hours by road. Ascend to the ancient steps, and witness the breathtaking sight of the Wall snaking over rugged mountains, offering expansive views of the surrounding landscape.
In the afternoon, your exploration continues at the Chang Tomb. Before entering, go through the Sacred Way, which is flanked by imposing stone statues and various memorial architecture. Then head to the tomb to gain insight into the life of China's royal family. It's the largest and best-preserved imperial tomb among the Ming Dynasty's Thirteen Tombs.
