Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai

Day 2: Classic City Views & Shanghai Vegetarian Flavors

At noon, enjoy lunch at a cozy teahouse-style restaurant near bustling Nanjing Road, yet tucked away from the crowds. With warm wood interiors and subtle antique touches, it offers a calm setting for refined Chinese vegetarian dishes. Be sure to try the signature "Lion's Head" tofu balls and the comforting mushroom hotpot.
As the afternoon draws to a close, take a leisurely walk along the Bund. Historic waterfront buildings stand opposite the soaring skyline of Lujiazui, creating a striking Shanghai city view and a vivid contrast between the city's past and present.

Day 3: Traditional Chinese Medicine & Shanghai City Walk
Begin your day with an immersive introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine at Longhua Hospital. In the morning, you'll explore wellness and tradition through activities such as Tai Chi, herbal identification, acupoint discovery, or fragrant sachet crafting. In addition, you'll enjoy two personalized TCM treatments, such as pulse diagnosis, acupuncture, Tui Na massage, or TCM beauty therapy, giving you a firsthand understanding of holistic Chinese healing.
After the TCM exploration, wander through the leafy paths of Fuxing Park, a French-style oasis where locals dance, play cards, or practice tai chi. Stroll along Fuxing Zhong Road and Sinan Road, taking in the charm of well-preserved historical villas. Conclude your walk at Bugaoli, a quiet lane where the timeless elegance of old Shanghai meets the vibrancy of modern city life.

Day 4: Shanghai - Huangshan, Bishan Village Walk
Begin the day with a high-speed train ride from Shanghai to Huangshan (approximately 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, transfer by private vehicle to Bishan Village, a serene hamlet known for its rice paddies and traditional Hui-style buildings.

Day 5: Farm-to-Table Experience & Fish-Lantern Making

From building the bamboo frame to sketching the patterns. When finished, take a stroll through the quiet stone-paved lanes with a lantern in hand. Day 6: Wonders of Mount Huangshan
After breakfast, head to Yungu Cable Car Station and ascend by cable car into the misty heights of Mount Huangshan, where a world of dramatic granite peaks and ancient pines unfolds above the clouds. At a gentle pace, visit scenic spots like Shixin Peak and the Beihai (North Sea) area, take in ever-changing vistas as drifting mist reveals and conceals the landscape. Day 7: A Leisure Day on Mount Huangshan

Day 8: Huangshan - Hangzhou
After breakfast, take the cable car down the mountain. Then transfer to Huangshan North Station for a high-speed train to Hangzhou, a modern city with ancient charm. The ride takes about three hours. Sit back and enjoy the changing scenery - from majestic mountains to the gentle beauty of Jiangnan.

Day 9: Longjing Tea Culture, Temple & West Lake
Begin your day in the peaceful hills of Meijiawu Tea Village, where rows of emerald tea bushes stretch across gentle slopes. Slow down here and enjoy a quieter rhythm of life, with the chance to observe traditional tea-making and savor freshly brewed tea in its place of origin. For a more immersive touch, you may opt for the Song-style tea whisking, an elegant ritual that brings artistry and flavor together. During the harvest season, you may also have the chance to pick tea leaves and take part in the process firsthand.
Nestled among the hills near West Lake, Faxi Temple offers a peaceful retreat with quiet courtyards, ancient trees and elegant halls. A gentle walk through the temple grounds provides a glimpse into Hangzhou's long connection with Buddhist culture.
The day ends with a lakeside walk beside West Lake. Admire the views across the water and enjoy the relaxed rhythm of life that has inspired artists and poets for generations.

Today is left completely free, allowing you to focus on your own wellbeing.
Spend the day as you please - perhaps wandering through the hotel gardens, practicing a little mindfulness, or making use of the spa and wellness facilities. You may also choose to explore the area around West Lake independently, with no fixed schedule to follow.
