Day 1: Fly to China
Today you will go to the airport on your own arrangement and take the international flight to China. Overnight on the plane.

Day 2: Beijing, Arrival
Welcome to Beijing, the capital city of China. Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 3: Beijing, City Highlights Tour
Today you will first visit the badge of Beijing city - Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will explore the exquisite Summer Palace and pay a visit to the Longing Pearl Store.

Day 4: Beijing, Great Wall Tour
Your first stop today is the Temple of Heaven, the centre of imperial ritual ceremony for Ming and Qing Dynasties. There you will see local people doing morning exercise as well. Later, drive out of the town to tour the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section, cable car included), which stretches about 4,000 miles across northern China, it is entitled the Eighth Wonder of the World, a must-visit of China.
Descending the Great Wall, you will visit the Changling Tomb and then get back to your hotel in downtown Beijing.

Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an, Muslim Street & Shadow Play
Take a morning flight to Xi'an this morning. Upon arriving in Xi'an, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
After a short rest, you will tour the Muslim Street, to discover the narrow bazaar streets lined with shops selling a large variety of interesting local delicacies, snacks and souvenirs. Later, pay a visit to a folk house - Gao's Courtyard, where you could enjoy the tea ceremony and shadow play.

Day 6: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors & City Highlights
Today, you will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors and learn to make your own Terracotta in the morning. After lunch, you will continue to visit the Ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 7: Xi'an - Chongqing, Chongqing City Tour
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Chongqing for your Yangtze River cruise. Upon your arrival in Chongqing, be met and then visit two landmarks of Chongqing city: the unique Hongya Cave Folklore Street and Chongqing Auditorium.
After that, enjoy a delicious hot pot dinner and then be transferred to the pier to embark the cruise, which departs from Chongqing at 9:30 pm.

- Yangtze River Cruise

Day 8: Yangtze Cruise, Shibaozhai
Sailing along the Yangtze River, you will see its amazing natural beauty and real China countryside views. Various on-board entertaining programs provide you with excellent access to Chinese culture.
Today, you will have a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, a 12-story redwood tower which was first built into the rocks in Qing Dynasty with 300 years history. After the excursion, return to the cruise. Usually, there will be a welcome party hosted by the captain in the evening, this is the best chance to make new friends and be immersed in the staff’s hospitality. So dress up and be ready to enjoy.

Day 9: Yangtze River, Shennong Stream
Continue your wonderful Yangtze cruise. Today's shore excursion is the Shennong Stream. You will take a local sampan to enter the fabulous tributary of Yangtze River. Deep gorges, green mountains, crystal waters, appalling cliffs, thriving groves and the lovely minority culture make this excursion worthwhile. Get back to the cruise after the stop.
In the evening, you will witness how your cruise passes the giant five-level ship locks.

Day 10: Yangtze River Cruise, Yichang - Shanghai
Today, the last shore excursion takes you to the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric complex Mingled with the local natural landscape. The dam boasts as the newest scenic spot on the river.
After the Yangtze cruise, you will be met by your local guide at the disembarking pier and transferred to the airport in Yichang city for a 1.5-hour flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met and escorted to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore.

Day 11: Shanghai, Yu Garden & Shanghai History Tour
Explore the charming Shanghai! First, enjoy a leisure stroll in the elegant Yu Garden, followed by the bustling Yuyuan Market. Later, drop by the Jiangnan Silk Workshop and proceed to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, which gives you a fascinating insight of Shanghai's future.
In the afternoon, go up to the Jinmao Tower for a bird's-eye view of the whole city and then taste the exotic atmosphere and ancient Shikumen architecture at Tianzifang district. In the evening, you can go to Xintiandi to experience the fashion atmosphere of the bars.

Day 12: Shanghai - Suzhou, Chinese Garden & Suzhou Museum
This morning, you will be driven to Suzhou (about 1.5 hours) for a wonderful Suzhou day tour. Highlights include the quiet Lingering Garden, Lion Forest Garden and the Suzhou Museum. You will also visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. After that, get back to Shanghai.

Day 13: Shanghai - Beijing, Departure
You will be free this morning until your personal guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival at Beijing airport, connect the international flight back home and say goodbye to China.
