Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.The rest of the day is yours to acclimatize, or to take a self-guided exploration of this dynamic capital.
Today you will firstly visit the Temple of Heaven where you will also see the local people doing morning exercise besides regular sightseeing. Then you will visit the Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest plaza. Then walking through Tian'anmen Gate, you will enter the splendid Forbidden City. With a history of 600 years, this royal palace continuous to delight visitors with imposing pavilions, elegant ornaments and lively historic stories.
Tonight, you can choose to enjoy the Chinese Kung Fu Show for getting touch with the charm of Chinese martial art.
You will visit the Eighth Wonder of the World - Great Wall (Mutianyu section, round-trip cable car included). As a popular symbol of Chinese civilization, the Great Wall winds its way through mountains, grasslands and deserts for 4,000 miles across Northern China.
Later you will visit the Chang Tomb and have a short stay in a Jade Gallery.
After breakfast, you will visit the exquisite Summer Palace. As a World Heritage site, it is an imperial summer resort famed for beautiful garden landscaping and fascinating legends of late Qing Dynasty.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xian, one of China’s four oldest historical capitals. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Your first stop today is the Ancient City Walls, the largest city walls on earth. If you prefer, enjoy a cycling tour on it will be a great experience. Later head for the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors. You will be amazed at the scene that the clay statues of soldiers, horses and chariots all standing in battle formation were commissioned by the emperor of the Qin dynasty as part of his mausoleum. Followed by the Xian Art Ceramics Factory.
In the evening, a highly recommendation for you is the Tang Dynasty Show which can let you know more about the ancient culture of China.
The morning tour will take you to the Great Mosque to appreciate the exotic Muslim architecture and culture,and Muslim Street where you can see the daily life of Xian Muslims. Then continue your visit at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the city symbol of Xian, before being transferred to the airport for a flight to Guilin.
Upon your arrival at Guilin airport, your local guide will greet and escort you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free at your own leisure.
In the morning, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to begin your Li River Cruise, the highlight of any Guilin tour. En route-- soaring peaks, limpid waters, thriving groves, rice paddies and grazing water buffaloes, will make you feel like in a traditional Chinese painting.
After disembarking at Yangshuo County and checking into your hotel, you will enjoy a countryside tour to take in the nice views (about 1-2 hrs, by bike or golf car). Rest of the day is free for you to explore the West Street where you can rest and have a nice chat with locals. The fabulous Impression Sanjie Liu is a nice option for the evening.
After a nice stay in Yangshuo, you will be driven back to Guinlin (1.5-hour) to tour the symbol of the city, Elephant Trunk Hill and stroll along the Li River. Later visit a Pearl Museum and move to the Reed Flute Cave which is famed as “A Natural Palace of Art”.
After the tour, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arriving at Shanghai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by your guide. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future. Then you will visit French Section and Shanghai Old Street. Later visit the peaceful Yu Garden, a masterpiece of Chinese traditional gardens, and sample some flavorful local snacks at the busy Yuyuan Market, followed by the Jiangnan Silk Workshop.
in the evening, a thrilling Acrobatics Show is an optional entertainment for you to spend a memorable night.

Hotel arrangement for Standard Tour Class
It will meet the basic requirements for a comfortable stay, good size and clean guest rooms with AC, TV, hot water, shower and private bathrooms. On-site restaurants with breakfast included and lunch or dinner at your own pick up. A small fitness center or spa can be expected.
Hotel Arrangement for Comfortable Tour Class
Normally you'll stay at formal and large hotels conveniently located with shopping, dining and entertainment facilities nearby. Quality service, fully furnished rooms, restaurants, room service, fitness center and swimming pool (in very rare cases there is no pool) all together offer an above-average accommodation experience.
Usually good 4-star hotels are adopted or boutique hotels at request. Hotels best available will be arranged if no qualified choice, e.g. in remote area.
Hotel Arrangement for Deluxe Tour Class
Luxurious hotel with top-notch service and an extensive range of facilities for an excellent accommodation experience. Multiple restaurants on site with extensive menus for choice, room service available 24/7, fitness center and concierge service round out the experience. Hotels best available will be arranged if no qualified choice, e.g. in remote area.
Normally China Odyssey Tours provides two meals each day: Breakfast and Lunch. You will have the freedom to make your own dinner choice.
It is normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, the breakfast would be in western style, Chinese style, or a combination.
When plan your lunches, we consider the balance of food quality, dining environment and tour convenience. We provide a la carte lunch in a local restaurant whenever possible. A la carte meal will give you an opportunity to eat at local restaurant, follow local customs, and taste local dishes. The a la carte allowance would be adequate for a decent meal in our recommended local restaurants, but varies from different restaurants and different cities. However in some remote regions where it’s simply hard to find a non-tourist restaurant, the meal could be arranged at a local tourist restaurant or a local family.
Dinners will not be included in your meal plan unless you have that requirement. Enjoying the local food could be one of your best experiences in China. This is why we provide you this flexibility of food choice. Your private guide will always give you good suggestions based on your preferences.
