• Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu

  Welcome to Chengdu! Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel by local guide and driver. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or stroll nearby to soak up the laid-back atmosphere Chengdu is famous for.

• Day 2: Pandas & Chengdu's Local Life

  Spend the morning with beloved pandas. Get to the research base early, before the day heats up and the crowds arrive. That's when the pandas are at their liveliest. You'll see them eating bamboo, rolling around, and climbing up and down.

  At lunchtime, gather around a bubbling hot pot and savor the bold flavors of Sichuan cuisine - spicy, numbing, savory.

  Continue with a slow-paced afternoon at the People's Park, where locals sip Gaiwan tea (covered-bowl tea), play Mahjong, and exchanging life trivia. Within the park, there is a lively matchmaking corner, where handwritten profiles line the pathways as eager parents search for suitable partners for their children - many of whom seem in no rush at all to get married themselves.

• Day 3: Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong Scenic Area

  Say goodbye to Chengdu for now and embark on a 2.5-hour high-speed train which will take you travel through the fertile Chengdu Plain into the dramatic mountain valleys and alpine landscapes of western Sichuan.

  On arrival, follow your guide to discover Huanglong Scenic Area, renowned for its terraced mineral pools surrounded by lush forests and snow-capped peaks. Witness the famous Five-Color Ponds shimmering in shades of blue, green, and gold as the sunlight changes.

  Then, proceed with 2-hour scenic drive to Jiuzhaigou, settle into your hotel, and enjoy a peaceful night.

• Day 4: Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area & Tibetan Family Visit

  Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park.

  Travel by eco-shuttle within the park, allowing you to save your energy for more walks through the most scenic sections and appreciate iconic highlights such as turquoise lakes, cascading streams, and mirror-like waters framed by mountain peaks.

  Later, visit a local Tibetan family, taste local specialties such as butter tea, and gain a glimpse into their daily life.

• Day 5: Journey Back to Chengdu by High-Speed Train

  Enjoy a relaxing morning before beginning your journey back to Chengdu, including a 2-hour scenic drive and a high-speed train ride for about 2.5 hours.

  On arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore. An option will be wandering Chunxi Road, a vibrant commercial district known for its shopping, dining, and lively city life.

• Day 6: Departure from Chengdu

  Your discovery of Chengdu's lifestyle and Jiuzhaigou's alpine landscape comes to an end today. At the appointed time, your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey.
