Day 1: Beijing, Arrival
Welcome to Beijing! Upon arrival, meet your guide who will be waiting for you at the arrival hall. You can identify the guide by finding the sign they will be holding with your name and Odynovo logo. It will take about one hour to drive from the airport to your hotel. On the way, the guide will give you some overview information about China's capital city and set a starting time for tomorrow.

Day 2: Beijing, Forbidden City
Start your city exploration at Tiananmen Square, the strongest symbol of the political center of today's China. Next stop is the grand Forbidden City, which was the power seat of ancient China starting from 600 years ago. You will be amazed by the imposing royal building complex and its many old stories. Finally, enjoy some relaxing time at the Summer Palace with a short boat riding on Kunming Lake if the weather permits.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall
It is your day to visit the Great Wall! After breakfast, drive about 2 hours to Mutianyu where you can visit the magnificent Great Wall by cable car up and down. After getting on the wall, some moderate hiking is suggested for you to enjoy more of the superb scenery. Later, proceed to Chang Tomb, one of the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty and have an en-route stop at a jade gallery before heading back to the city.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Enjoy your last morning in Beijing at the graceful Temple of Heaven. Once a holy place where the emperors would worship heaven and pray for abundant crops, this has now become an earthbound park where you can see how retired people often like to spend their morning. If you like, you can join the locals to play Tai Chi.
In the afternoon, take the high-speed train to Xi'an. On arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel by your local guide.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors
This morning is packed with an exciting tour to the legendary Terracotta Warriors, one of the most significant archeological finds in the world, and then Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory where you can learn how the great clay army was created.
In the afternoon, drive about one hour back to the city and stop to see an underground cave dwelling for the indigenous people in the past. This kind of old-fashioned dwelling may totally disappear soon. While in the city, you can have a leisurely stroll through the Muslim Street, the center of a sizable Chinese Muslim community in Xi'an.

Day 6: Xi'an - Guilin
This morning, you will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Wander around the garden and seek some good spots to take nice photos of the pagoda. Here you will also have a chance to take in a Chinese calligraphy lesson. Maybe you can write some Chinese characters and keep them as your souvenir.
After that, head to the airport for your flight to Guilin, the most scenic city in China. Upon your arrival, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 7: Guilin - Yangshuo, Li River Cruise
Check out the hotel after breakfast, and then take the 50 minutes' drive to Zhujiang Pier, where you will embark on your Li River cruise down to Yangshuo. Along the river, you will be stunned by the picturesque pastoral views formed by towering peaks and crystal waters. Lunch will be served onboard. Disembark in Yangshuo at about 1:30 pm. After the cruise, you will go to the famous West Street rammed with various shops, cafes, and restaurants, and then be transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is free for your own exploration.

Day 8: Yangshuo Free Day
Today is left for you to explore on your own. If you are foodies, you can take in a cooking class and learn to cook Chinese food or try some delicious local food around the bustling streets. For someone full of energy, riding a bike along the road to find the real rural life of China is also a nice choice.

Day 9: Yangshuo - Guilin - Hangzhou
Drive back to Guilin, visit Reed Flute Cave and a pearl store before flying to Hangzhou.
On arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel by your tour guide.

Day 10: Hangzhou, West Lake
Follow your tour guide to discover the poetic charm of the West Lake in the morning. Whether rainy or sunny, you can always enjoy a typical picture with the classical beauty of China: tree-lined causeways, exquisite pavilions, stone bridges that contrast with the water, and leisurely boats on the lake.
In the afternoon, continue the tour to Lingyin Temple, Dragon Well Tea Plantation and Museum of Hu Qing Yu Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Drugstore. At the drugstore, you can see people come and go to buy different Chinese herbal medicine, just as could be seen hundreds of years ago.

Day 11: Hangzhou - Shanghai
Enjoy a relaxing morning at Hangzhou Workmanship Demonstration Pavilion, where you can see many interesting and traditional Chinese handicrafts, as well try painting on a circular fan.
In the afternoon, take the high-speed train to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 12: Shanghai, the Bund
Start your city tour from the Bund and Shanghai Museum to get a general idea of Shanghai's part and then to Yu Garden to discover the difference between the communal garden and the royal garden such as the Summer Palace. After a stopover at a silk workshop, you will enjoy an hour's leisurely walking around the urban area: the famous Maoming Road, Bugaoli old buildings, and Fuxing Park. Through the walk, the past, present, and future of Shanghai will catch your eyes. Finally, visit the former French Concession.

It is time to say goodbye now. When you are ready, your personal guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
