• Day 1: Beijing, Arrival

  Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

• Day 2: Beijing, City Highlights Tour

  In the morning, you will first visit the iconic Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest plaza. Walking through Tiananmen Gate, then you will enter the splendid Forbidden City. With a history of 600 years, this royal palace continuous delights visitors with imposing pavilions, elegant ornaments, and lively historic stories.

  In the afternoon, have a hutongs tour by rickshaw and visit Longing Pearl Store.

• Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall & Changling Tomb

  No Beijing tour is complete without a visit to the Great Wall. Today you will tour the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section), the 8th Wonder of the World. Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will amaze at the unbelievable constructions and appalling landscape surrounding the Wall. Finish today’s tour with visiting Changling Tomb.

• Day 4: Temple of Heaven, Beijing - Kunming

  On this day, you will first explore Temple of Heaven, where emperors in ancient times worshiped Heaven for a national good harvest, followed by visiting the Summer Palace.

  After the tour, be escorted to the airport for the flight to Kunming. Upon arrival, the local guide will greet you at the airport and pick you up to your hotel.

• Day 5: Kunming, Stone Forest

  Start today with visiting Kunming's famous Stone Forest, a bizarre rock formation created over millennia of rain and weather. A must-see! In the late afternoon, you will be driven back to downtown Kunming to visit the Jingxing Bird Market.

• Day 6: Dali Ancient Town, Kunming - Dali

  This morning, you will be escorted to the railway station for the high-speed train to Dali. Upon arrival, your local tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. You will visit a Bai ethnic minority village to taste the local culture and customs. In the late afternoon, you will take a leisure stroll in Dali Ancient Town.

• Day 7: Dali, Cycling Around Erhai Lake

  Today, you will take an easy cycling tour around Erhai Lake (25 km, 4-5 hours). Enjoy the stunning view of farmlands and many local Bai villages, relax away from the crowd with the fresh air during the nice bike ride. Memorize this wonderful moment with your camera.

• Day 8: Shaxi Ancient Town & Lion Hill, Dali - Lijiang

  Take a driving trip to Shaxi Ancient Town, a historic town once an active trade stops on the Southern Silk Road, before being escorted to Lijiang. On arrival, your local guide will take you to explore Lijiang Ancient Town and the Lion Hill located in the ancient town.

  On this day you will be driven to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, followed by a visit to the Baisha Mural Paintings. Later, you will visit the Black Dragon Pool Park and the Dongba Culture Museum located inside the park.

• Day 10: Lijiang, Wetland & Ethnic Minority Villages

  The first stop of today is Lashihai Lake Wetland Park, a plateau wetland nature reserve living 57 species of birds. You will have a chance to take a boat ride on Lashi Lake. After that, visit Naxi and other minority nationalities around Lashihai Lake to taste their rich culture and folk costumes after exploring Zhiyun Temple.

  Today, your tour guide will escort you to the Lijiang airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival, our tour guide will meet you at the airport and then escort you to the hotel.

  After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Old Street, former French Concession and Jiangnan Silk Workshop; then, immerse yourself in the Yu Garden and Yuyuan Market. After that, take a leisure stroll along the Bund.
