About This Trip
If you've ever wanted to get close to some cuddly pandas, Chengdu is the place to do it. Along with pandas, Chengdu is well known for its delectable cuisine and laid-back way of living. On this tour, you'll experience all of these, including becoming a volunteer to take care of the pandas, walking around Wangjiang Park to observe the local tea culture and Mahjong culture, visiting the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, and learning to cook tasty Sichuan dishes.

Day 1: Arrival - Chengdu
In addition to pandas, Chengdu is also famous as the birthplace of Sichuan Cuisine. This tour will treat a close contact with pandas and an appetizing Sichuan cuisine experience to you.
On arriving in Chengdu, your guide will welcome you and escort you to your hotel with a friendly driver. After checking-in, have some relaxing time on your own.

Day 2: Chengdu, Panda Volunteer
Dujiangyan Panda Base, which is 18 kilometers away from the urban area of Chengdu, is the world's only professional institution for panda rescue and disease prevention.
The panda volunteer program at Dujiangyan Panda Base will offer you the unique chance to get closer contact with cute pandas. As a volunteer, you will help the panda keeper clean the panda's house, make panda cakes, and feed the pandas. The whole program usually ends in mid-afternoon. After it, you could take a relaxing walk in the Wangjiang Park where you can get on Chongli Pavilion for a great view of surroundings and glance at the local teahouse and Mahjong culture.

Day 3: Chengdu, Sichuan Cuisine Museum & Cooking Class
Whether at home or abroad, Sichuan cuisine is the most popular among the eight major cuisines in China. About 35km northwest of Chengdu, you will find the world's only cuisine museum themed to Sichuan Cuisine. Visitors who come here can get a comprehensive understanding of the ingredients and cooking process of Sichuan cuisine, as well as a hands-on experience on cooking. After the tour, we believe you can surprise your families by cooking some tasty Chinese dishes when returning home.
Late in the afternoon, return to the city and enjoy some leisure time on your own.

Day 4: Chengdu - Departure
Time to say goodbye to Chengdu.
At the appointed time, your guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport or railway station for your departure from Chengdu.
