• Day 1: Arrival, Pingyao Ancient City

  Upon arrival at Pingyao railway station, you will be greeted by your private guide and escorted to enjoy a leisure tour in the walled Pingyao Ancient City. Savor the old town charm by visiting some featured attractions, like the imposing Ancient City Wall, the first bank of China - Rishengchang Exchange Shop, and the bustling Ming and Qing streets lined with typical ancient buildings. Later, have a unique experience of pasta making and taste the mooncake made by you. End the day by enjoying the immersive live drama "See Pingyao Again".

• Day 2: Pingyao, Mount Mian

  This morning, drive out of the city and head towards Mount Mian. After about 1.5 hours, you will arrive at the notable mountain renowned for its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and religious significance.

  Marvel at the stunning scenery characterized by deep valleys, cascading waterfalls, lush forests, and towering peaks dotted with temples, shrines, and monasteries for Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. The must-see scenic spots of the mountain like Daluo Temple, Shuitao Valley, and Yunfeng Temple all await your exploration. After visiting, drive back to Pingyao.

• Day 3: Pingyao, Wang Family Compound

  Continue the Pingyao tour to the massive Wang Family Compound, a magnificent residential complex with an excellent layout and exquisite decoration which is regarded as the best example of the existing folk residence complex in northern China. After that, visit the 1400-year-old Shuanglin Temple, which houses more than 2,000 valuable painted mud sculptures. Then, it's time to say goodbye to Pingyao. You will be escorted to the railway station for the train to your next destination.
