Day 1: Pingyao, Arrival

Upon your arrival in Pingyao, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 2: Pingyao, Wang Family Compound & Ancient Town

Enjoy a wonderful day tour to visit highlights of Pingyao! Firstly, admire the magnificent and beautiful Wang Family Compound, and then visit a World Heritage Site - Shuanglin Temple.

Later, taste the time-honored charm of Pingyao ancient town, by visiting the Ancient City Wall, Rishengchang Exchange Shop and Ming and Qing Street.

Day 3: Pingyao - Datong, Hanging Temple

After breakfast, be driven to Datong. On the way, you will visit the Hanging Temple, a 1400 years old wooden temple built on stilts against the cliff.

Upon arrival in Datong, hotel check-in and have some leisure time.

Day 4: Datong, Huayan Temple & Yungang Grottoes

This morning, visit the grand Nine Dragon Screen and Huayan Temple, which houses many treasured Buddha statues and paintings of Liao and Jin Dynasties.

Later, take a 40-minute drive to visit the Yungang Grottoes, where you will be amazed by the vivid and gigantic Buddha statues carved on rocks and caves. After that, get back to your hotel and rest of the day is yours to relax.
