Day 1: Lhasa, Arrival
After your flight touches down in Lhasa, a warm welcome awaits from your guide and driver. A one-hour scenic drive covers 70km along the expressway into the city center.
Upon arrival at your hotel, take time to relax and ease into the 3,650m altitude. For now, the sights and experiences of Lhasa await your exploration over the coming days.

Day 2: Lhasa, Drepung Monastery & Sera Monastery
Today, Lhasa's two iconic monasteries will guide you into the depths of Tibetan Buddhist culture. Drepung Monastery, once the world's largest housing of over 10,000 monks, will impart its vast history. Wander the splendid prayer halls and lively debate courtyards observing monks rigorously studying scriptures.
Later comes Sera Monastery, renowned for its unique disputation style. Through animated gestures and passionate debates, the monastery will demonstrate Buddhism's core tenets. Witness the clerics’ fervent exchanges aiding deep understanding of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 3: Lhasa, City Tour
Begin your visit from the imposing Potala Palace. Its gleaming white walls and golden roofs were once home to the Dalai Lamas. As you wind through the halls adorned with vivid murals and statues, explore this historic hub of spiritual and political power.
Head to Jokhang Temple, the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism. Reverberating with prayers within its sacred chambers, you'll see why pilgrims travel great distances to circumambulate this first temple honoring Buddha.
Nearby, Barkhor Street envelops you in local color as residents and pilgrims throng its circular route. Along this sacred path, the true spirit of Lhasa is revealed.

Day 4: Yamdrok Lake
Today Yamdrok Lake is yours to explore. Wander at leisure along its shimmering shores, taking in breathtaking 360-degree views and picnicking lakeside.
Next, visit the isolated Rituo Temple on a solitary islet, its lone monks offering a serene respite. Conclude your day from Gangbala Viewpoint, gazing over the azure expanse of Yamdrok Lake before returning refreshed to Lhasa by Tibet's natural splendors.
