Itinerary

• Day 1: Lhasa Arrival, Lhasa - Tsetang

  Upon your arrival at Gonggar airport, you will be met by your private guide and escorted to your hotel in Tsetang County (2.5-hour drive). After checking in the hotel, rest in the afternoon to get adapted to the high altitude.

• Day 2: Tsetang Sightseeing, Tsetang - Lhasa

  Today's tour will bring to Yungbulagang Palace, Chanhu Monastery and Samye Monastery. After the tour, drive to Lhasa (220 km, about 3-hour).

• Day 3: Lhasa, Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple

  Your tour today will include Lhasa's cardinal landmarks, the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and the flourishing Barkhor Street.

• Day 4: Lhasa, City Temple Tour

  Today we will bring you to the Norbulingka Park, the Drepung Monastery and the Sera Monastery.

• Day 5: Lhasa - Gyantse, Yomdrok Lake & Family Visit

  Today you will be driven from Lhasa to Gyantse (about 256 km, 5.5 hours), along the way you will visit Yamdrok Lake and a Tibetan family. After arriving in Gyantse, you will visit the Palcho Monastery.

• Day 6: Gyantse - Shigatse, Tashilumpo Monastery

  After breakfast, you will be driven from Gyantse to Shigatse (about 90 km, 1.5 hours). In Shigatse, you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery and a free market.

• Day 7: Shigatse - Lhasa, Yaluzangbu River & Traditional Show

  Today, you will be driven back to Lhasa (280 km, about 6 hours) along the Yaluzangbu River. You will be amazed by the beautiful valley along the way. After a rest in Lhasa, a farewell dinner will be arranged at a Tibetan restaurant for you to enjoy local food with traditional Tibetan singing and dancing.
