Day 1: Arrival, Hong Kong
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, your personal tour guide will greet you and take you to your hotel. During the journey from the airport to your hotel, the guide will give you a brief introduction to Hong Kong. As a prosperous Asian metropolis, Hong Kong will show you the integration of Chinese and Western culture well.

Day 2: Hong Kong, Free Day
With a well-developed public transport system and the popularity of English, Hong Kong is an ideal place for you to do some light adventure on your own. So today is free for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery at your own pace. You could just stroll around Kowloon area, spend a half day at some foodie streets and shopping malls; or take a taxi or subway to Hong Kong Island to enjoy a relaxing walking along the Garden Road where culturally significant buildings abound.

Day 3: Hong Kong - Shanghai
Continue your exploration in the morning and then go to the airport on your own for the flight to Shanghai. On arrival, your local guide in Shanghai will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 4: Shanghai City Tour
Start today's tour with a relaxing stroll on the Bund to enjoy the best view of both the new and old high-rise buildings of the city along Huangpu River. Afterward, proceed to Shanghai Museum and the ancient private Yu Garden to get a general idea of the city's past, followed by Shanghai Old Street where you can appreciate a dynamic and complicated urban landscape. After that, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and a silk workshop.

Day 5: Shanghai - Chengdu
Spend a leisurely morning on your own. You could walk around the People's Park, immerse yourself at Moca Shanghai or Shanghai Grand Theatre, and have coffee in the former French Concession.
In the afternoon, your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. When you arrive in Chengdu, your tour guide will meet you and then accompany you to your hotel.

Day 6: Chengdu, Giant Panda
Enjoy a special morning with endearing pandas at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. The pandas are usually more active from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, so we suggest a departure time of around 8:00 am. At the panda base, you will have the chance to see the pandas enjoy breakfast, visit the baby panda's room and the Panda Museum, and watch a short movie about pandas.
In the afternoon, take a city tour to Wenshu Temple and Jinli Old Street. While in Wenshu Temple, you have a chance to taste some traditional Chinese tea.

Day 7: Chengdu - Xi'an
This morning, take the high-speed train to Xi'an. On arrival, be picked up and transferred to the hotel. After a short break at the hotel, start the city tour to the Drum Tower, Muslim Street, and Gao's Courtyard where you have the chance to enjoy a shadow puppet show.

Day 8: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors
The highlight today is the amazing Terracotta Warriors. You can marvel at the grand array with thousands of life-size clay soldiers, horses, and chariots, no two of which are exactly the same. Afterwards, drive about one hour back to the city, and have a short stop at a jade store before visiting the Ancient City Wall.

Day 9: Xi'an - Beijing
Head to Beijing on a 5 to 6 hours' high-speed train. Upon arrival, the local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. Wangfujing Street lined with various shops and eateries, or the restful Beihai Park will be good places to go.

Day 10: Beijing, Forbidden City
Today, you will visit Tiananmen Square first, and then explore the Forbidden City with its exquisite architecture and long history. On leaving, head to Jingshan Park for a panoramic view of the magnificent royal palace complex. Finally, end the day by walking through authentic hutongs to learn about the daily life of old Beijingers.

Day 11: Beijing, Great Wall
Cap your China holiday with an impressive tour of the magnificent Great Wall. To avoid the crowds, the Mutianyu section is highly recommended. At this section, you can take a cable car to go up and down. While on the wall, you may like to do some moderate hiking to enjoy more of the majestic scenery. In the afternoon, drive about 2 hours back to the city to visit the Temple of Heaven and a nearby pearl shop if you are interested in that.

Day 12: Beijing, Departure
