Day 1: Welcome to Shanghai, China
Upon your arrival in Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.

Day 2: Shanghai Discovery
Your first stop is the Shanghai Natural History Museum where it is good for kids with burning curiosity. Many activities for children are geared towards teaching kids to appreciate the planet.
Later, you will visit the Yu Garden, a fine example of the Chinese gardens. After that, you'll drop by at a silk workshop and spend some time to discover the bustling Yuyuan Market. Next, pay a visit to the Bund, the city's fulcrum.
Optional: If you are interested, a fascinating acrobatic show will be no doubt your best choice for tonight.

Day 3: Shanghai - Guilin, Reed Flute Cave
Today, you will be sent to the airport for the flight to Guilin, the most scenic city in China.
Upon your arrival, you will be met by a private guide and sent to the Reed Flute Cave, famed as "A Natural Palace of Art", and then have a visit to a pearl store.

Day 4: Finding the Minority Villages, Longsheng
Today's excursion will take you to the Longsheng Autonomous County, which is 90 km northwest to Guilin city (about 2 hours' drive) and is home to many different ethnic minority groups such as Zhuang, Yao, Miao and Dong, etc.
There you will not only see the famous Longji Rice Terraces (also called Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces) but also have a chance to walk into the old minority villages along the hillside, chat with the local Zhuang and Yao people and learn about their rich culture. After that, get back to Guilin city.

Day 5: A Taste of Rural Life, Yangshuo
Today, you'll take a leisurely Li River Cruise. Your camera will be busy as this journey offers you the breathtaking scenery of karst hills as you sail downstream the crystal-clear river. You might also be able to encounter water buffaloes and cormorants. The bamboo forests and steep cliffs are also reminiscent of traditional Chinese paintings.
After the disembarkation, transfer to your hotel in Yangshuo. Later, you will enjoy some leisure time at the well-known West Street.
Optional: The Show of Impression Liusanjie, China's largest outdoor performance in Yangshuo County, is highly recommended to you for tonight.

Day 6: Guilin City Tour & Flight to Chengdu
Today, take a countryside tour along the Jima Road (by bike or by car) to feel the laid-back ambiance in Yangshuo. Later, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Chengdu.
Upon arrival in Chengdu, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 7: Chengdu Pandas
On this day, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, where you will spend a cheerful morning with these lovely pandas, followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in a tea house enjoying a cup of traditional Chinese tea and absorbing the special atmosphere of Chengdu and the Jinli Old Street.
Optional: In the evening, Sichuan Opera is a good choice to admire the unique face changing skills if you want to explore further the Chengdu city.

Day 8: Active Cycling on the City Wall, Xi'an
After breakfast, be transferred to the train station for your high-speed train to Xi'an.
On arrival, your local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After that, enjoy leisure time at the Ancient City Wall. Taking a memorable cycling tour along its top is an ideal way to admire this ancient capital city.

Day 9: Wonders of Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Xi'an
This morning, you will visit a local family and join them for lunch. You can go to the market with the hostess, help to prepare the meals and learn to make dumplings or stretched noodles, surely a memorable experience.
In the afternoon, drive out of the city (about 1 hour) to visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors and Horses, a significant archaeological discovery in the 20th century known for its grand scale and vivid terracotta statues. Later, drop by the Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory and then get back to your hotel.
Optional: The spectacular Tang Dynasty Show reflects the richness of the glorious Tang Dynasty era at the Shaanxi Opera House. It will be sure to amaze you tonight.

Day 10: Back Street Fun & Flight to Beijing
In the morning, be familiar with this city by visiting the famous snack street - Muslim Street before proceeding to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a 13-story beautiful Buddhism pagoda. There you will also take an interesting calligraphy class (about 30 - 60 minutes).
After that, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will greet you and escort you to the hotel. Rest of the day is yours to rest or explore the ancient city.

Day 11: Inside the Hutong, Beijing
Today's tour begins with a visit to the Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City with its palace complex of 9,999 rooms across 72 hectares, surrounded by a six-meter deep moat and a ten-meter wall.
In the afternoon, come across the old Beijing by entering into the hutongs with a rickshaw. You can try your hands at painting a facial make-up of Peking Opera on a paper model and learn the stories about the crickets and grasshoppers fighting.
Optional: If you are a Kung Fu lover, the Legend of Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater will be eye-popping for you and sure to meet your demands.

Day 12: Climbing into the Great Wall, Beijing
No Beijing tour is complete without a visit to the Great Wall.
Today you will tour the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section), the 8th Wonder of the World. Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will marvel at the unbelievable constructions and appealing landscape that surrounds the Wall.
Descending the Great Wall, you will stop by a jade gallery and then take a leisure stroll along the Sacred Road, a royal path noted for vivid stone statues and afterlife stories.
