Confucius Heritage Tour: Qufu & Tai'an

Itinerary

• Day 1: Welcome to Jinan

  Upon arrival at Jinan Airport, your personal tour guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel. After checking in and a short rest, start a leisure sightseeing through Daming Lake, Furong Street, and Baotu Spring.

  • Jinan

• Day 2: Drive to Qufu, San Kong

  In the morning, you will take a 2-hour drive to visit the "San Kong" in Qufu City, the hometown of Confucius and the cradle of Confucius culture. The Family Kong's Mansion, the Temple of Confucius, and the Cemetery of Confucius are three concentration spots representing the culture's headstream. Get away from the bustling city and calm down to take in the great and profound philosophical culture. Some new thought about life may be generated in your mind.

• Day 3: Qufu - Tai'an - Jinan

  Start a 1.5 hours' drive from Qufu to Tai'an City where you will visit Dai Temple, and climb up to Mount Tai for a glimpse of Puzhao Temple and Bixia Temple.

  Mount Tai is one of the Five Sacred Mountains of Taoism and has an altitude of 1,524 meters. There is a poem to describe the mountain as "When reaching the great peak of Mount Tai, we hold all mountains in a single glance".

  Return to Jinan after the tour.

  Relax before your private driver and guide transfer you to the airport for your homebound flight.
