Day 1: Beijing, Arrival
Welcome to Beijing, the dynamic capital of China. Upon your arrival in Beijing, your private guide is ready to greet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you at leisure.

Day 2: Beijing, City Highlights Tour
In the morning, you will visit Tiananmen Square, once the world's largest plaza, and then the splendid Forbidden City. Reputed as China's No.1 palace complex, it was the home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties for over 600 years.
In the afternoon, you'll admire the Temple of Heaven, where emperors in ancient times worshiped Heaven for a nationwide good harvest.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall Tour
Today, you will visit the magnificent Badaling Great Wall. Winding its way 4,000 miles along ridges in northern China, the wall stands today as a bastion of pride & culture for Chinese people. Climbing the ancient steps privileges you a journey back to history and access to breathtaking views.
Descending the Great Wall, drop by a jade gallery and take a relaxing stroll along the Sacred Road, a quiet royal road lined with vivid statues of divine animals and officials. Tonight is free time for you.
Optional: A recommended night show is the fabulous Chinese Kung Fu Show at an additional cost.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an, Summer Palace
This morning, pay a visit to the Summer Palace, one of the most splendid classical gardens in China. Later, enjoy a 15-minute boat ride on Kunming Lake if the weather permits.
After that, head to take a high-speed train to Xi'an. On arrival, your private tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors & City Highlights
You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors. These clay statues of soldiers, horses, and chariots, all standing in battle formation, were commissioned by the emperor of the Qin dynasty as part of his mausoleum. Following the Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory in the morning.
After lunch, enjoy a cycling tour atop the Ancient City Wall of Xi'an, the largest and best-preserved city walls in the world.
Optional: A night show for tonight is the Tang Dynasty Show which will let you know more about the ancient culture of China.

Day 6: Xi'an - Guilin, Muslim Street & Great Mosque
After breakfast, you will visit the Great Mosque, one of China's four grandest mosques, and wander around the Muslim street to see the daily life of Muslims and try some famous local food. After the tour, be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin.
Upon arriving in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, you will be picked up and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or step out to discover what this beautiful city has to offer.

Day 7: Guilin - Yangshuo, Li River, West Street & Countryside Tour
In the morning, you'll go on a leisurely Li River Cruise, which sails downstream to Yangshuo.
During this journey, you will pass through the stunning karst peaks, dense vegetation, local villages, and bamboo groves, which present a traditional Chinese landscape painting for you to admire. Lunch will be served onboard with decent Guilin local delicacies.
After disembarkation, you'll first be transferred to your hotel. Next, enjoy a countryside tour (by bike or private car) along the serene paths to explore wonderfully laid-back rural villages.
Optional: A night show of Impression Sanjie Liu might be your cup of tea.

Day 8: Yangshuo - Guilin - Kunming, Reed Flute Cave
After a wonderful stay in Yangshuo, you will be driven back to Guilin for a city highlights tour. On arrival, pay a visit to a pearl shop and then explore the Reed Flute Cave - a fairyland full of fancy stalactite formations and remarkable illuminations.
After the tour, be escorted to the airport for your flight to Kunming. Upon arriving in Kunming, drive to the hotel. Enjoy the time to relax in the hotel or explore this city yourself.

Day 9: Kunming, Stone Forest & Jingxing Bird Market
Today you will visit the renowned Stone Forest. Famed as World Karst Landscape Museum, you will be amazed at the bizarre stone formations in the shapes of swords, mushrooms, towers, pillars, and even castles. In the Forest, you will feel come to a "Stone World".
In the afternoon, you will have a chance to visit a local Jingxing Bird Market, where you can capture the epitomes of the local's daily life.

Day 10: Kunming - Shangri-La, At Leisure
You will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Zhongdian (Shangri-La). Upon arriving in Zhongdian, your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 11: Shangri-La, Pudacuo National Park & Tibetan Family Visit
In the morning, you will visit the picturesque Pudacuo National Park. Here you can watch the Bitahai from a distance and visit Shudu Lakes. After that, continue to explore the Gedan Songzanlin Monastery.
In the evening, you will visit a Tibetan family and be warmed by the famous hospitality of the Tibetan people.

Day 12: Shangri-La - Lijiang, Tiger Leaping Gorge & First Bend of the Yangtze River
After breakfast, you will be escorted from Zhongdian to Lijiang, where you will stay overnight.
On the way, you will first visit the scenic Tiger Leaping Gorge, the First Bend of the Yangtze River - a splendid V-shaped river bay, and the Iron Chain Bridge in the Shigu (Stone Drum) Town.

Day 13: Lijiang, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain & Baisha Mural Paintings
This morning you will admire the breathtaking Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, followed by a visit to the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings, then go to the Black Dragon Pool Park and Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture inside the park.

Day 14: Lijiang - Chongqing, Lijiang Ancient Town & Lion Hill
After breakfast, you will be driven to the Lijiang Ancient Town and the Lion Hill inside the ancient town. The town, with over 800 years of history, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Chongqing. Embark on your Yangtze River cruise ship, which usually departs Chongqing at 9:30 pm.

Day 15: Yangtze River Cruise, Shibaozhai
Today enjoy your time on board to soak up the beautiful views and have a shore excursion to the Shibaozhai (literally Precious Stone Fortress in Chinese), a beautiful red 12-story pavilion built at the hillside.

Day 16: Yangtze River Cruise, Shennong Stream
There is an optional tour in the morning: visit White King Town. If you choose this optional tour, you will need to pay directly to the shipping company.
Today's shore excursion is Shennong Stream, which will take you into the picturesque streams by smaller vessels and show you the culture of local villages along the Yangtze River.

Day 17: Yangtze River Cruise, Three Gorges Dam, Yichang - Shanghai
Today, the last shore excursion takes you to the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric complex. You will disembark the ship in Yichang at about noon.
Upon arrival at Yichang, stroll across Yiling Square and head to a local market to learn more information about Yichang city.
Finally, transfer to the airport for a flight to Shanghai, known as the "Paris in the East" and China's largest city. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 18: Shanghai, City Highlights
Today, your tour of incredible Shanghai will include: Jade Buddha Temple - named after its exquisite milk-white jade Buddha brought from Burma in the 19th century. Take a stroll along the Bund to see the architectural gallery, followed by Nanjing Road. Enjoy a bird's view of this "Paris in the East" from the Shanghai World Financial Center.
After that, stop at a silk workshop and finally visit Xintiandi (including the visit to Wulixiang Museum) - an ambitious area containing stylish and expensive shops, pubs, and restaurants.

Day 19: Shanghai, Zhujiajiao Day Tour
After breakfast, you will visit historic Zhujiajiao Village (a 50-minute drive from Shanghai).
At Zhujiajiao, you will walk through Fangsheng Bridge, Beida Street, and the Kezhi Garden. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time. After your trip to this beautiful village, you will be driven back to Shanghai.
