Itinerary

• Day 1: Shanghai, Arrival

  Upon your arrival in Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet and escort you to your hotel.

  The rest of the day is yours to relax or step out to explore this amazing metropolis on your own.

• Day 2: Shanghai City Tour

  After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Museum. Continue on to walk down the Bund, Nanjing Road along the Huangpu River. Next, visit the Bourgogne Lane (Bu Gao Li), and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

• Day 3: Shanghai - Suzhou, Chinese Garden & Grand Canal

  After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to the railway station for the high-speed train to Suzhou (about 30 minutes, no guide service on the train).

  Here you will visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, one of China's most beautiful gardens, set foot on the ancient Pan Gate, enjoy the gentle breeze, nice scenery, and local life by taking a cruise along the 2,400-year-old Grand Canal. Finally, drop by No.1 Silk Factory to discover the secret process of making silk.

• Day 4: Suzhou - Hangzhou, Tongli

  In the morning, drive to Tongli Water Town (about 20 minutes' drive from Suzhou). In there, you will pay a visit to the Garden of Seclusion and Meditations, Pearl Pagoda, Triple Bridge, Ming and Qing Dynasty Street.

  Drive back to Suzhou railway station for the train to Hangzhou. Upon your arrival at Hangzhou railway station, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or step out into this beautiful city for an adventure on your own.

• Day 5: Hangzhou, West Lake & City Attractions

  On this day, you will first paddle on the West Lake to enjoy its inviting scenery and often-talked legends. Afterward, travel to the centuries-old Lingyin Temple to admire at exquisite Buddha statues and observe how locals do they're worshiping here, and then climb the serene Feilai Peak to see its reputed religious embossing.

  Later, you will take a walk in the picturesque Dragon Well Tea Plantation, and watch an artistic Chinese tea ceremony and sip a cup of tasty Chinese tea.

• Day 6: Hangzhou, Departure

  Be free at leisure until your personal guide and private transfer escort you to the airport for your departure flight back home.
