  In the afternoon, you will visit the Bell & Drum Tower Square, one of the iconic landmarks of Xi'an. Nearby, in the Muslim Quarter, test your tongue with an array of local street food, visit a traditional courtyard, and witness the artistry of shadow puppetry, where stories come alive through intricate shadows cast by sheepskin or paper.

• Day 2: Terracotta Warriors and Horses

  Admire one of the world's Eight Wonders at Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum. Marvel at the intricate details of the Terracotta Warriors, the vivid Bronze Chariots and Horses, and gain an insight into the military power of the first emperor in Chinese history. Take part in a hands-on activity to create your model, Terracotta Warrior, immersing yourself in the captivating world of ancient artistry.

• Day 3: City Wall, Pagodas, and Great Tang All Day Mall

  Set off to explore the majestic City Wall of Xi'an. Ride a bicycle on the top of this 600-year-old structure and be captivated by its grandeur and the lively urban landscape nestling it.

  Next, walk into the specious ground of Xi'an Museum, enjoying a bit of tranquility in the bustling city, admiring the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and hearing about how it has survived over a thousand years of natural and historical storms, and then delve into the Museum's myriads of exhibits, which vividly depict the vibrant and storied past of this enduring city. Late in the afternoon, roam around the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, capture the graceful image of this imperial pagoda, and then join other tourists in Han or Tang Dynasty attires to explore the bustling and illuminated Great Tang All Day Mall.

• Day 4: A Day in a Local College

  Embrace a unique opportunity to connect with a local college today. Immerse yourself in Chinese culture as you learn the elegant art of calligraphy, practice the graceful movements of Tai Chi, and find some little surprises for your taste buds in the school cafeteria with local students.

  In the afternoon, engage in a friendly football or ice hockey match, fostering camaraderie and cultural exchange. Capture a treasured group photo to commemorate this special day.

• Day 5: Unlock the Secrets of the Daming Palace

  Commence your day at the Daming Palace National Heritage Park. Explore the archaeological simulation center, delving into the architecture and culture of this palace. Unravel the mystery of the Daming Palace through archaeological technology and methods, and even get involved in heritage restoration.

  After lunch, we will arrange transportation for your return journey via high-speed train or flight.
