Day 1: Arrival, Kunming - Jianshui
Your photography extension tour from Kunming starts with a two-hour scenic drive to the Stone Forest. Here, you will encounter the typical karst landforms, where rocks stand tall in various shapes and sizes, resembling towers, skyscrapers, or even animals, showcasing nature's remarkable creativity in diverse forms.
Continue with another three-hour drive to Jianshui, one of Yunnan's three ancient cities. Nestled amidst the mountains of southern Yunnan, the time-honored old city and its famed delicacies, such as Steam Pot Chicken, Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, and Qujiang Roast Duck, as well as an array of snacks and desserts, await your discovery.

Day 2: Explore Jianshui's Historical Sites
After breakfast, wander into the Old Town of Jianshui and explore Zhu Family Garden, a private luxurious mansion, featuring patios encircled by Ancestral Halls and living quarters, all adorned with meticulously chosen period furniture.
Then, approach the venerable Confucian Temple, with a legacy of over seven centuries, whose majestic structure exudes refined scholarly grace, emblematic of Confucian ideals. Occasionally, skilled musicians from traditional ensembles serenade with timeless Confucian music before the main hall. Out of the city, check out the Shuanglong Bridge, with 17 arches and a quaint pavilion creating an unparalleled picture with its reflection on the water.

Day 3: Diverse Yuanyang Terraces
In the early morning mist, stand on the high mountaintop observation deck to behold the vast Duoyi Tree Terraces nearly ten thousand acres, cascading down numerous ridges and peaks. If fortunate, wait for the first ray of sunlight to rise, casting golden beams into the fields, revealing the terraces in diverse and picturesque glory.
Continue to Bada Terraces, known for their steep majesty and ever-changing contours, showcasing a vast expanse, graceful lines, and a strong sense of three-dimensionality. Head towards Azheke Ancient Village, where over sixty households of Hani people still reside, maintaining their simple and traditional way of life. The mushroom-shaped houses evoke a serene and rustic charm.
Standing atop the towering Tiger Mouth overlook, you can peer down at over 3000 acres of terraced fields, each with its unique shape, resembling a palette of spilled spices from a painter's brush.

Day 4: Yuanyang - Mengzi - Mile City
Today, depart from Yuanyang and travel 142 kilometers to Mengzi. Along the journey, you will visit Yunnan Province's first customs office—the Mengzi Customs. Within this structure, a treasure trove of artifacts and documents from the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China era is preserved.
Spend some time at the Mengzi Grand Qing Post Office and pass by the Bisezhai Railway Station, steeped in a captivating French ambiance. Capture the moment with a few photographs to cherish the experience.
Finally, after another two hours of driving, you will arrive at Mile City, where you can explore this region's distinctive local customs and culture.

Day 5: Dongchuan Red Land Discovery
Head to Yunnan Hong Winery, nestled within the vast vineyards of Dongfeng Farm. From there, you will witness towering and grand fermentation tanks, as well as the Southern Sky Cellar, showcasing the mysterious process of crafting fine red wines.
Continue our journey by car for 3 hours to reach Dongchuan Red Land. The unique red soil contrasts with golden wheat, rapeseed flowers, barley, and green potato sprouts, presenting different combinations depending on the season.
As dusk approaches, visit Luoxiagou in Dongchuan, where you can observe the sun piercing through the clouds, descending behind the mountains, and admire the warm glow cast upon the villages on the red soil.

Day 6: Dongchuan - Kunming, Departure
Start your day with the tranquil pastoral scenery of Damakan Village. In Lepuao, be mesmerized by the undulating fields, with the scattered landscape resembling a musical staff.
Following this, take a stroll into the lively local market, where you will discover a variety of unique and fascinating products unseen elsewhere. Taste the local delicacies, and experience the lifestyle of the residents.
Finally, embark on a 2.5-hour drive back to Kunming.
