This 4-day tour will take you to discover Nanning and Daxin of Guangxi. Nanning will be your first stop. Then, you will be transferred to Daxin to visit the famous Detian Waterfall and enjoy the idyllic karst landscapes in Mingshi Scenic Area. Next, you will go back to Nanning to explore the Guangxi Museum of Nationalities - a place that mainly displays the national culture of Guangxi.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nanning

On arrival, be welcomed and transferred to your downtown hotel. With a warm and humid subtropical climate, the Green City of Nanning is abundant in evergreen trees, greenies, and parks. It is nice to do a leisure walk around your hotel after check-in.

Day 2: Nanning - Daxin, Detian Waterfall & Mingshi Scenic Area

Departing from Nanning, after around 3 hours, you will arrive at Detian Waterfall. It is the fourth largest transnational waterfall in the world and the largest in Asia, spanning China and Vietnam. Here you can hike along the path to enjoy a panoramic view of it and then take a bamboo raft to get close to the water.

Afterward, drive about 40 minutes to Mingshi Scenic Area, settle into the hotel and then get on a bamboo raft to enjoy its idyllic countryside views.

Daxin

Day 3: Daxin - Nanning, Guangxi Museum of Nationalities

Mingshi Scenic Area, also known as the "Little Guilin", has dramatic karst landscapes. Though a bit smaller in size, it is less touched and hence seems more tranquil and peaceful. This morning, before returning to Nanning, you can ride a bicycle leisurely to enjoy its tranquility and beauty.

After arriving in Nanning in 2.5 hours, visit the Guangxi Museum of Nationalities to learn about China's colorful ethnic culture, particularly the Zhuang culture.
