Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai

  Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing time to rest and recover after your journey.

  If time permits, you may take a gentle walk around the hotel area for a first impression of the city, passing local cafés, small shops, and everyday street scenes that reflect the rhythm of Shanghai life.

• Day 2: Shanghai Bund Walk, Jade Buddha Temple & Tea Experience

  The day begins with an in-depth Bund walk along Huangpu River, which is a vivid introduction to Shanghai's layered architecture and urban history. You'll pass Waibaidu Bridge, the historic Peace Hotel, and the promenade lined with colonial-era buildings, before reaching the Weather Signal Tower. Across the river, historic façades face the city's modern skyline, reflecting Shanghai's contrast between past and present. During the walk, your guide will point out the stories behind the buildings.

  Next, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, an active Buddhist monastery known for its finely carved white jade Buddha statues and peaceful atmosphere.

  Later, take part in an authentic Chinese tea tasting, savoring the delicate aromas and flavors of premium teas. Afterward, choose one hands-on cultural activity to experience traditional Chinese culture: craft a fragrant sachet, create a personalized calligraphy scroll, or try Song-style tea whisking.

• Day 3: Yu Garden, Former French Concession & Shanghai Skyline

  Begin at Yu Garden and the surrounding market streets. Classical pavilions, rockeries, and ponds create a calm retreat, while nearby snack lanes introduce the flavors and energy of old Shanghai.

  Continue to the Former French Concession. Tree-lined Wukang Road and the preserved Shikumen lanes of Bugaoli reveal a more residential side of the city, shaped by historic architecture and everyday local life.

  Cross the Huangpu River into Shanghai's modern financial district, starting with the Shanghai Museum East, where traditional Chinese art is displayed in a contemporary architectural setting. Continue to the Shanghai Tower, ascending for panoramic views of the city skyline, a visual finale to Shanghai's journey from heritage to modernity.
