• Day 1: Xining, Arrival

  When landing in Xining, the provincial capital of Qinghai, you will be warmly greeted by your local guide and transferred via private vehicle to your downtown hotel.

  Check-in, rest, and refresh before heading out to visit the majestic Dongguan Grand Mosque, a symbol of Islamic culture in China, with its stunning architecture and serene ambiance. Approximately 30 kilometers away, the revered 600-year-old Ta'er Temple, also known as Kumbum Monastery, is a Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary adorned with intricate artwork and tranquil gardens.

• Day 2: Xining - Chaka, Qinghai Lake

  A scenic 2.5-hour drive will transport you to the picturesque Qinghai Lake, China's largest inland lagoon. Nestled amidst the serene Tibetan Plateau, the vast expanse of azure waters and its surrounding grasslands are home to a myriad of bird species and unique flora.

  Upon reaching the Erlangjian Scenic Area, the heart of Qinghai Lake's beauty, take a leisurely walk along the lakeshore to indulge in its breathtaking scenery. From May to October, consider taking a cruise to admire the lake from another viewing angle.

  Enjoy a full day exploring Chaka Salt Lake, renowned as the "Mirror of the Sky." Walking on its mirror-like surface is just like stepping into a surreal painting.   Savor some leisure time before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Dunhuang, a pivotal stop along the historic Silk Road in Gansu Province.

  Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy some leisure hours at the Shazhou Night Market.
