• Day 1: Xiamen, Arrival

  Welcome to Xiamen! Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up by a private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your free time to stroll along the bustling Zhongshan Pedestrian Street for local food sampling. For sailing enthusiasts, we can offer scenic cruises or fishing trips to enjoy Xiamen's coastal charm (extra costs). (approx. 3 hours).

• Day 2: Gulangyu Island Excursion

  Enjoy your full-day tour on Gulangyu Island, an island known for its serene beauty. Visit the Shuzhuang Garden, which blends Chinese classical beauty with seascapes perfectly, making it distinct from any other classical garden in China. Fringed to it, in the Piano Museum, appreciate the ornate antique pianos, most of which were owned by famous pianists and families, and some may interest you by their odd looks. It can be a fun outing for both music enthusiasts and laymen.

  For a fully-immersed experience, have a Nyonya makeup session (an outfit style influenced by Southern China and maritime Southeast Asia, characterized by embroidered gauze) before leaving the island.

• Day 3: Xiamen - Nanjing County, Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster

  Start your architectural exploration after transferring to Nanjing County, which is noted for Tulou (Earth Building), a Hakka's ancient dwelling with unique looking and delicate designs.

  Your first stop is the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, a mountain dwelling complex of four round buildings and one square. Afterwards, head to Yuchang Building, a leaning architecture that resembles the Italian Pisa Tower, while its extension makes it such a miracle to exist for over 700 years. You'll have the opportunity to step into its atrium and ascend the building for a local lifestyle comprehension.

  In the afternoon, visit the vibrant Ta'xia Village, which is known as Taichi Village for its curving river and the round buildings alongside it, resembling a Yin-Yang Diagram.

• Day 4: Yun Shui Yao Ancient Town Exploration

  Continue your Tulou discovery today. Head to Yun Shui Yao Ancient Town in the morning to soak in the tranquil atmosphere. Visit HeguiLou, one of the highest Tulou in Nanjing County. It's jaw-dropping to learn that it was built on marshland 300 hundred years ago. Stroll to Huaiyuan Lou, the most delicate and well-preserved concentric-circulous Tulou in Fujian.

  Later, stroll the Yunshuiyao Ancient Road, a 10km pebble path under a banyan tree, connecting Longyan to Zhangzhou, flanked by old brick and wood structures - perfect for sightseeing and sketching. After exploration, return to Xiamen.
