Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu
Welcome to Chengdu, home to China's national treasure giant pandas.

Day 2: Chengdu Pandas & Hot Pot Experience
Arrive at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in the morning to meet these chubby black-and-white creatures, and watch them climbing trees, playing on the ground, and gripping bamboo in their paws as they happily munch away.
For lunch, savor an authentic Sichuan hot pot, featuring a richly spiced broth infused with chili and Sichuan peppercorns. You'll gather around the steaming pot for a warm, interactive, and distinctly local dining experience.
Afterward, head to Wenshu Monastery to experience its tranquil Zen atmosphere, classic architecture, and softly filtered light. Here, you'll also have the chance to experience the meditative art of hand-copying a Buddhist sutra, which is a quiet, centuries-old practice that uses brush and ink to calm the mind and restore a sense of inner peace.
Optional Activities- Sichuan Opera: If you're interested, enjoy a Sichuan Opera performance, featuring the famous face-changing art that brings rapid, expressive transformations on stage.

Day 3: Hands-on Cooking, Chengdu Museum & People's Park
Explore a traditional spice market with your private guide, selecting essential ingredients as you move through the bustling stalls filled with vendor calls and lively bargaining. Continue to a traditional Sichuan courtyard restaurant for a hands-on cooking experience, where you'll be guided step by step in preparing classic local dishes.
Later, visit the Chengdu Museum to gain insight into over 5,000 years of local history and civilization. Then spend time at People's Park, where you can savor tea at a traditional teahouse and join locals in a game of Mahjong in a laid-back atmosphere. You may also come across the well-known matchmaking corner, where you'll see posters carry personal ads looking for partners.
