Day 1: Beijing, Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 2: Beijing, City highlights & Hutongs
You will visit Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City in the morning. Later, taste the local foods and see the local life at a hutong family before exploring the hutongs (including the Nanluoguxiang section).
Optional: Tonight, taking a seat to enjoy the famous Peking Opera if you are interested in this Chinese traditional performance.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall & Changling Tomb
Head for the highlight of your Beijing stay - the Great Wall (Mutianyu section, round-trip cable car included). Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will marvel at the unbelievable constructions and appalling landscape that surrounds the wall.
After that, visit the Changling Tomb and stop by a jade gallery before getting back to your hotel.

Day 4: Beijing - Yichang, Temple of Heaven
Today, you will visit the Temple of Heaven and then you will be transferred to the airport for flight to your next destination - Yichang. Upon your arrival, be met and escorted to embark your cruise.

Day 5: Yangtze Cruise, Three Gorges Dam
Today take in the nice scenery along the Yangtze River! And enjoy a shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site at Sandouping, the largest in the world. Later, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks, and the stunning Xiling Gorge.

Day 6: Yangtze Cruise, Goddess Stream
Today's excursion is the Goddess Stream or Shennv Stream (Small Gorges), which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive. You will enter Wu Gorge which is known for its quiet beauty, mountains covered with forest and cliffs and sail through Qutang Gorge, the most dramatic gorge.

Day 7: Yangtze Cruise, Fengdu Ghost City
Continue your scenic Yangtze River cruise, and have a shore excursion to Fengdu, the "Ghost City" in the morning, which is known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.

Day 8: Chongqing - Chengdu
The cruise will arrive in Chongqing around 9:00 am. Your guide will meet you and escort you to the railway station for your high-speed train to Chengdu. Upon your arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the free afternoon in Chengdu.

Day 9: Chengdu, Giant Pandas
On this day, you will visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, followed by a trip to Wenshu Temple. Later absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu at the Jinli Old Street and have a leisure time tasting a cup of traditional Chinese tea at a tea house. If time permits, you can also explore the Kuanzhai Alley.

Day 10: Chengdu - Xi'an, Muslim Street & Shadow Play
You will be free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination - Xi'an. On your arrival, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
After a short rest, you will visit Muslim Street to see the local life, taste delicious foods, and then enjoy a shadow play at the Gao's Courtyard.

Day 11: Xi'an, Terracotta Warrior & City Wall
You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors - one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. And continue to Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory to know how the warriors made in ancient time. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Wall and experience cycling on the city wall.
Optional: As the night falls, you can consider enjoying the Tang Dynasty Show which will let you know more stories about ancient China.

Day 12: Xi'an - Shanghai, Shaanxi History Museum
After breakfast, you will tour the Shaanxi History Museum before your guide escorts you to the airport for the flight to your next destination. Upon arrival in Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.

Day 13: Shanghai, City Highlights
Today you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre, stroll around the historic Yu Garden and have a taste of local's life at the Yuyuan Market. Also, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River, continue to stroll in Xintiandi (including the visit to Wulixiang Museum) and visit the Jiangnan Silk Workshop.
Optional: A recommended entertainment for tonight is the thrilling acrobatics show which is famous in the world.
