If you wish, take a little time to explore the stunning Chinese elements in this edge-cutting airport. Then, enjoy a comfortable one-hour drive to your downtown hotel, and take some time to rest.

Day 2: Forbidden City & Hutongs With Hands-on Activities
Kicks off the day at Tiananmen Square, a pivotal landmark located at the heart of Beijing, where major ceremonies happen during significant festivals.
Following is the Forbidden City to experience the grandeur of the Three Great Halls. Seek out the deity birds and beasts adorning the eaves, each with intricate functions and symbolic meaning. Feel the joys and sorrows within the Eastern and Western Palaces and encounter some people dressed in traditional Chinese qifu, taking photos along the corridors and red walls.
Hop on a rickshaw to explore the nostalgic Hutongs, passing by traditional Siheyuan courtyards and visiting a local family. In the hutongs, you will enjoy interactive cultural experiences such as Chinese calligraphy or Peking Opera facial makeup, fun for the whole family.

Day 3: Temple of Heaven & Great Wall
Pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven, once the sacred site where emperors conducted rituals and prayed for seasonable rain and bumper harvest. Nowadays, it's a lively park where you can witness locals enjoying various recreational activities, from card games and traditional board clapping to Tai Chi and dancing.
Continue your journey to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, with a two-hour drive. Ride the cable car up, explore the ancient ramparts, hike further to take in the breathtaking surroundings, and then descend by cable car or enjoy a fun slide ride of toboggan back down before returning to Beijing.

Day 4: National Museum of China & Beijing Roast Duck
Spend the morning at the National Museum of China and gain a general understanding of China's comprehensive history. You will encounter some of the finest masterpieces of ancient Chinese bronze ware, a diverse array of pottery, and exquisite jewelry from various periods.
On lunch, taste the reputed Beijing Roast Duck, renowned for its crispy, golden skin and tender meat, expertly carved before your eyes. Wrapped in a thin pancake with scallions and dipped in a rich sauce, it will bloom on your tongue with its mixing and lingering flavor.
Take a high-speed train journey from Beijing to Xi'an, which takes approximately five hours. Upon arrival, a guide will meet your family at the station and escort you to your hotel for check-in.

Day 5: Terracotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots
This morning, you will admire the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Bronze Chariots at Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum.
