Itinerary

• Day 1: Guilin Arrival

  Upon your arrival at Guilin Airport, our local guide will greet you and facilitate a smooth transfer to your downtown hotel, ensuring a hassle-free start to your cycling adventure.

  After check-in, enjoy your leisure time to relax and rest up to rejuvenate yourself. You may like to stroll around the Central Lakes, where lush greenery and serene lakes offer a peaceful retreat.

• Day 2: Guilin, Bike Riding From Daxu Ancient Town to Crown Cave

  Biking time: 3 hours; Difficulty: Moderate

  This morning, start by driving (about 40 minutes) to Daxu, a centuries-old town by Li River. Roam its cobbled streets, explore old wooden houses, and mingle with the locals to visit the lively market. Then, hop on a bike and cycle south along the riverbank, surrounded by stunning karst landscapes, covering about 20 km in approximately 3 hours.

  After finishing a cool downhill, get access to the Crown Cave by a mini train and a sightseeing elevator. Your guide will lead you through its illuminated chambers, showcasing dramatic stalactites and underground rivers. As the tour concludes, transfer back to your downtown hotel.

• Day 3: Li River Cruise From Guilin to Yangshuo

  Your guide will pick you up from the hotel at around 8:30 AM and transfer you, approximately 40 minutes, to Zhujiang Pier for your Li River cruise. As you glide along the crystal-clear waters, marvel at the towering limestone peaks, lush rice paddies, and traditional villages that line the riverbanks. This river trip offers a relaxing way to enjoy the region's iconic karst landscapes, covering 52 miles (83 kilometers) and lasting about 4-5 hours, depending on water levels.

  Lunch will be served onboard. Disembark in Yangshuo around 1:30 PM, and wander around the neighboring West Street, followed by a smooth transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for your own sightseeing and exploration.

• Day 4: Yangshuo, Yulong River Valley Cycling Tour

  Biking time: 3 hours; Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

  Today is reserved for a leisurely bike tour on the country road and small paths of Yulong River Valley, surrounded by karst mountains, rice paddies, and small villages. Covering a cycling route of 20 KM, you'll be welcomed by the sight of the most beautiful countryside in China.

  Lunch is at a local restaurant near the 600-year-old Yulong Bridge. After a village walk, begin a traditional bamboo raft ride, poled by a local farmer, downstream the Yulong River (a major tributary of Li River). Later in the day, return to Yangshuo by bike along the opposite riverbank.

• Day 5: Yangshuo - Xingping, Cycle Along the Li River to Xianggong Hill

  Biking time: 3 - 4 hours; Difficulty: Moderate

  After breakfast and hotel check-out, depart Yangshuo for Xingping Ancient Town (about 1 hour). As you arrive, settle into your hotel and relax in your surroundings.

  This afternoon sees you cycle along the east bank of the Li River, stop for photos, and cross the river by local ferry until finally reaching Xianggong Hill. Covering a distance of approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles), this journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours at a leisurely pace. The path is relatively flat for the first part, but it becomes more challenging as you approach Xianggong Hill due to some uphill sections. The climb (abound 20 minutes) to the hilltop will reward you with stunning vistas of the Li River winding through the iconic limestone peaks.

  After descending, continue with a scenic bike ride amongst karst landscape through Dahebei Village on the west bank, followed by a ferry ride to the opposite Xingping ancient town. Tonight, unwind after a day of exploring and sleep soundly in the peaceful atmosphere.

• Day 6: Yangshuo / Guilin, Departure

  Your cycling journey in Guilin comes to an end after breakfast today. At the appointed time, your guide will escort you on a private transfer to Yangshuo Railway Station or Guilin airport for departure.
