• Day 2: A Day in 3D Chongqing

  Begin your day in Chongqing at Ciqikou Old Town, a well-preserved town that retains a Ming and Qing Dynasty vibe. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and browse some authentic delicacies. Next, transfer to Shancheng Alley, dive into old Chongqing hidden on centuries-old buildings that rise and fall with the mountain, and overlook the Yangtze River from the Shancheng paths. Continue to the popular Liziba Monorail Platform, where trains pass through an apartment block. Board the Chongqing Board Rail Transit Line 2 at Liziba, head to E'ling Park for a panorama of Chongqing city. Then walk to E'ling Second Factory, a former factory that has become a vibrant cultural landmark as young artists flocked here to create.

  In the afternoon, pass by the most complex overpass in China - Huangjuewan Overpass, showcasing the charm of 3D Chongqing with a 5-level, 37-meter-high structure. Afterward, visit the Huguang Guild Hall, which reflects the migration and cultural fusion 300 years ago. Enjoy a Drunken Bayu performance featuring acrobatics and face-changing, sip a cup of traditional Gaiwan tea to experience the tea-house lifestyle. As the city lights up, take a cruise along the Jialing River and the Yangtze River, glide past the glittering skyline of this mountain-and-river city.

• Day 3: Transfer to Zhangjiajie by Train

  Have a leisurely morning to explore one in Chongqing, such as the trending and Instagram-celebrated Hongya Cave, at your own pace. Then, be transferred to the railway station for a three-hour high-speed train to Zhangjiajie. After reaching, you'll head to the hotel for check-in. Take advantage of leisure time to gather energy for your explorations.

• Day 4: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

  Discover the cinematic landscapes that inspired Avatar. Board the Ten-Mile Gallery mini train for a scenic ride through mystical karst formations. Ascend Yuanjiajie via the Bailong Elevator, the world's tallest outdoor lift, to witness the ethereal First Bridge Under Heaven, a natural rock bridge suspended between two cliffs.

  Marvel at the famous Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, a towering sandstone pillar shrouded in mist, and explore the Back Garden, a hidden area known for its whimsical rock formations. Don't miss Mihun Stage, a high platform offering sweeping views of the landscape. Continue to Tianzi Mountain, where jagged peaks rise above a sea of clouds, offering spectacular scenery. A one-way cable car ride ensures a comfortable descent, with stunning aerial views of the rugged terrain.

• Day 5: Hike in Greenery and Explore Karst Cave

  Begin with a half-day hike along Golden Whip Stream, a forest trail famed for its fresh air and lush scenery. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and enjoy calming sound of flowing water.

  In the afternoon, explore Yellow Dragon Cave, an expansive karst cave system renowned for its stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and underground rivers.

  In the evening, you may choose to enjoy the Charming Xiangxi performance. This captivating show brings to life the history and traditions of local ethnic groups through vibrant stage art, dynamic singing, and spectacular dancing.

• Day 6: Tianmen Mountain & Departure

  Conclude your journey at Tianmen Mountain, ascending via one of the world's longest cable car rides. Walk the thrilling Glass Skywalk, perched along a cliffside, and take in the panoramic mountain views before your transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport.
