Tibet Tour

Tibet is one of the most mysterious and the purest places in the world. Every visitor to this vast plateau will make his or her own discoveries. Erin with local Tibetan people

Tibet was our favorite part of our trip, because the people there have retained their identity and are very spiritual and the area is so beautiful. The two of us did fine in the youth hostel setting in Lhasa, but we are not ordinary American tourists. Conditions were somewhat poor, but we felt that made the experience more organic, and it put us in touch with lots of backpackers and independent travelers. We also had more opportunity to visit with common people, who were very friendly and open. Tibet would have been fine to navigate independently.
