GUILIN

As a world-famous tourist city, Guilin has the most spectacular karst landform in China, of which the Li River is a great representative with emerald peaks, crystal-clear water, limestone caves. Down the Li River, you will arrive at Yangshuo, the most quintessential part of Guilin's karst landform. Biking in the fields with stunning landscape as the backdrop, is one of the best ways to truly experience its beauty. 90 kilometers north of Guilin lies Longsheng, where the Longji Rice Terraces are located.   Beihai was a departure port of the ancient "Maritime Silk Road". The beach in the south of the city is composed of quartz, which will reflect silver glints under the sunlight, so it is called Silver Beach. Beyond that, the historical Old Street and Weizhou Island are also must-sees.

  The county is inhabited by Dong people, characterized by its 108 wind and rain bridges, 159 drum towers, and Dong-style dwellings. You Cha is a famous snack here, made with tea, ginger, and garlic, which is eaten with fried rice, soybeans, peanuts, and chopped green onion.
